Let me be the first to recommend Bloke rods on this forum.
I've been using the 10ft 7# XL50 for a few years now and I just wouldn't be without it. It's my number one choise boat rod in a wind. Lots of power, but plenty of "feel" if you know what I mean.
I've just bought the 10ft 5# version. Not had a chance to use it yet (I work offshore), but hoping to get a few sessions in by the end of the season. I'll let you know how I get on.

I also have the Bloke xl50 10ft #7 and it is without doubt the best rod i have used ,I have an 11ft xl50 and a 10'6" custom build which i have only just bought but it feels nice in the hand .I only have one Sage rod left and that is the RPL 11ft3in #6 which i only use occasionally as its a 2 piece and a pain to transport .

See you are going lighter line there ,seems every wet fly rod these days is for a#7 line ,7s are my seatrout single handed salmon lines from a drifting boat #5 is go to #4 in flat calms .#6 for a big wind . I keep meaning to use my thebault silk #5 but never get round to it !
