my preference is for DT floaters for most times not top of the range either as I dont need a high floater, favorite colours are ,browns ,dark greens ,though have fished with all colours including fluros .

I tend to use weight forward lines now for all my fishing ,I use Shakespeare Worcestershire floaters and wetcell sinkers normally ,Wetcell 1 is my normal first line of attack when pulling wets.

I use a DT floating Snowbee XS white line. I'm never sure about whether the colour makes a huge difference, but I'm open to persuasion.
I'm about to get a new spool -- should I get a sinking or an intermediate line put on it?

I would go for something like a Fastglass intermediate if i was going to operate with 2 lines only .I fish Lough Conn quite a lot and fish with a wetcel 1 and floater mostly although there are days when a wetcel2 or fastglass come into their own in the early season when the trout are among the stones .

Worcestershire floater is my usual. Normally a five weight unless the wind is blowing a hooley, then I go up to seven.
I'm not too hot with out and out sinkers, but as I normally fish the bank, thats not too important. I do use a slow glass and a fast glass, but only when I really have too.

The Worcestershire floater seems quite popular, but i can't pass comment as i've never tried one. My floater is an Airflo Delta, 2 inters(slow & fast glass), Di-3 & Di-7 sinkers. I also used 10 ft Polyleaders quite a lot, as they are quicker to change than a spool. In saying that, my lines are all are needing replaced cos they're ancient, so any suggestions for replacements will be appreciated.
